Throwing the home party

This blog is a very personal one to me. Being a professional event manager , I am faced with the question , twice a year , of what I am going to do for my own children's birthdays. They are mostly home parties - so stuff like balloon arches ,stage backdrop etc feels like it's too much for a  small space.

At the same time I want the party to be very participative and good fun for my kids and their friends. With decoration elements they help to create , lots of songs , puppets , story telling and dress up, they really enjoy being a part of the process of throwing the party. I love to personalise the food table with customised placemats , straw toppers , food cards , place cards , unique centrepieces that go with a theme of the child's choice.Even food ideas uniquely customised or the themes like the Green Alien Cupcakes(Toy Story) or the Flos V8 juice(Cars theme)  really win a lot of giggles and appreciation.

This was the whole idea behind The Party Crew. We are a professional home party service. We want to bring  meaningful and fun birthdays for  kids. The Party Crew provides theme decor(all over the party area ) , cake table decoration , some balloons , tailor made entertainment with songs , puppets , story telling , costumes for dress up ,treasure hunts , custom return gifts, theme based cakes and even souvenir photos for each child. This works great for a party for 2-10 year olds , with minimum 15 kids and maximum 100 kids for the party , at home or any other venue of your choice .

The pricing has been kept low (I have packages starting at Rs 5000). We want to take out the stress of creating a great party which your child and his friends will completely enjoy ,by planning the party for you.

The objective of this blog is to act as a resource for enthusiastic parents who want to plan meaningful and fun parties for their kids.I will share pictures , Do- It-Yourself ideas , useful links  etc in the subsequent posts .Using their imagination and creatively using props like big cardboard boxes (for a castle/ tunnel / pirate ship ) or a laundry hamper ( for a well or a treasure chest ) or a play tent ( for a mermaid's cave ) or even big sofa cushions (piled up to form a throne ) , our children display amazing resourcefulness and creativity . I will also be sharing pictures of what the children I work with in my parties , create with everyday stuff.Children are truly the inspiration to make our lives better.
